Automatic wire rope melting and cutting machines are used to cut wire ropes into suitable sizes by heat fusion. The incoming AC current is converted into a low voltage high current, and the wire rope sandwiched between two copper dies is melted and cut. The cut ends come together nicely without any deflection. This machine is widely used in the production of control cables such as brake cables, clutch cables, throttle cables, and so on.

1- Wire rope feeding device
The wire rope feeding device was driven by servo motor and servo controller. The feeding process as follow:
1. a) Slow to fast speed pre-feeding at beginning
2. b) Slow speed feeding when length is close to limit.
3. c) Fixed the feeding length by encoder
2- Wire rope melting & cutting device
l The device includes solid-type voltage adjustment, transformer, manual voltage adjustment, etc.
l The melting mold sets include four pieces of molds, each two pcs work as one set.
When mold clamp the wire rope with power on, the wire rope will melted to cut off because of the lower melting point compare to copper mold.
3- Unloading system
The unloading system includes the turnable channel, pneumatic turnover device and the hopper, the material is from the high quality stainless steel.
4- Control system
The wire rope cutting machine is controlled by Omron PLC, and the cutting length, cutting quantity can be set by touch screen with servo motor and encoder. Also have the emergency stop and alarm system for counting, material finish and fault, etc.

The control system consists of servo motor, Taiwan 7-inch tablet touch computer, Taiwan DELTA servo motor controller and Taiwan FATEK PLC, which has the advantages of stable operation and low failure rate. 2. The machine has the function of automatic stopping and alarming when the steel rope breaks, the steel rope gets stuck, or there is no steel rope. Automatic shutdown and alarm when there is no air pressure or insufficient air pressure! 3. It can be set to fuse/melt/cut.
